Happy Valentine's!!!!!

Hi everyone!

I have a card share for you! I just love how this turned out! I participated in a Non-traditional Valentine Card Challenge that the chicas (Linda and Susi) over at NanoySushi.blogspot.com was hosting. The challenge was that you had to create a not so traditional open and close type of card. It could be a gate fold, easel, or shaped card. Well I decided to do both a easel and heart shaped card. I learned of this tutorial from whiffofjoy.blogspot.com. It was super easy to follow.  Also part of the challenge is that you had to use a spanish sentiment so I decided to use a Biblical text: Song of Songs 1:2. Enjoy the pics below..... =)

Take a peak at my video where I explain how I created this card.

Thanks for visiting!

Altered Post-A-Photo Postcard

Hi everyone!

Welcome to Susie's surprise birthday blog hop! This hop is hosted by Linda AKA ScrapChica... thank you Linda for inviting me to participate!  Ok, so here is the project I worked on for Susie.... first of all she loves owls so I had to incorporate the little feathered friend into this project. Also her favorite color is purple...so you will find some purple blossoms accented around the picture frame.

I used this "Post-A-Photo" that I purchased from my local Goodwill. When I saw this, right away I thought, "I can alter this into a picture frame!" I had a light bulb moment. LOL! Anywho... below is the before picture....

So this is how it looks all decorated. =)

Isn't it adorable!?! I used the paper from DCWV "The Sweet Matstack". It was the perfect size to cover the front of the post card. I then added the embellishments (mulberry paper flowers, berry spray, leaves, feather, trim and bling). Also I could not forget to add the little owl and a feather. I just love how this turned out!!! So what do you think? I hope she likes this, although I did have a lot of fun creating this for her.

If you hopped here from Sharon aka SMScrapper then you are heading in the right direction.... if not follow the list below. Now it is time for you to head over to Tereese's AKA Friday blog at www.fridayscreations.blogspot.com and see what beautiful project she has created.

Altered Ultimate Organizer

Hi everyone!

A couple of months back I was watching a video on YouTube....It was Bona from LiveLoveScrap sharing an Ultimate Organizer that she had purchased from Michael's and how she had altered it. I was very much inspired! So that same weekend I went to my local Michael's and purchased a couple of them. So here is my version of the now altered ultimate organizer....

I just love how it turned out!

I used the new beautiful Parisian style paper from DCWV, "Le Tres Chic". I used the trims from Hobby Lobby and a couple of the embellishments from my store. This was a lot of fun to alter and look forward to altering another one as a gift.

Single Pink Rose w/Leaves
Medium Paper Flowers
Bling Trim (Black/Silver)
