Drunk'n Turkey

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your loved ones. I know I sure did....although we did not do ours until this past Saturday. I know it is not traditional but then again we are not a traditional family. Therefore it makes us unique. I do not have a problem with that. Also I feel that to give thanks for what we have and the blessing we have received should not have to be done on a specific day in the calendar. That should be done everyday. Ok, I am not going to preach. LOL! But I do want to show a few pictures of the turkey my husband cooked. Oh my goodness it was delicious! Yumm! My hubby is an awesome cook, I must mention. Yes, I am a very lucky woman. Those are one of the blessing I am truly thankful for. So without further a do....here are the pics.....

Yes, you are seeing right....that is a tequila bottle next to it. LOL! He used it to marinate the turkey along with sour fresh oranges, pineapple, bacon and he made this dried chile sauce. I have no idea what he put in cause I was at work. =(

This is how it looked all cooked. Delicious looking isn't it?

This is what happened after everyone got a hold of it. LOL! (My husband insisted on me adding the tequila bottle in the pic) LOL! This was the most tender and juiciest turkey I have ever tasted.

Hugs,
Elizabeth

Shops Are Up & Running!

Hi everyone!

Well it has been a long day....finally, both my jewelry shop and scrapbook shop are up and running. Take a peek and see how it came out. They both look exactly the same as this blog except that they are missing a header. I am still working on that. I might change it to look more like my avatar or should I say profile picture. While you are there leave a comment and let me know what you think. =D

Coming Soon!

Hi everyone!

There are a couple of things that I am working on with my blog....I really did not like how it is laid out as far as my pages go. I like to see when I make a post an automatic date stamp once I publish my post...something that I am not seeing. I have to manually type in the day of the week and the date along with a title then my post.  Also I do not have the option of just selecting one particular title as a link without the whole page with other post showing up and scrolling down to get to where I want to be. You might say I am being anal.... but that is ok...I agree but I would say that I like things organized....well on certain things. LOL!  Anywho...... I created two separate blogs which I will be adding to this blog but in pages. I hope you are understanding what I am trying to say. I created "Beady Bom Bom Scrapbook" where you can find items to accent your scrapbooking creations. You can even follow that page too!  I also created "Beady Bom Bom Jewelry" where you can find simple yet beautiful handcrafted jewelry to accent the beautiful you. =D Currently both pages are under contstruction. I am hoping to have it up and running for sure with no more changes by this weekend.  Thank you so much for your patience and happy crafting! =D

LSH Chunky Charm Bracelet Swap & Altered Gift Box

Hi everyone!

It is a beautiful and sunny day here in the midwest. Unfortunatedly, I am stuck at home cleaning my hot mess of a craft room (dinning room), LOL! So while doing that, I uploaded a new video on YouTube. In August I participated in a Chunky Charm bracelet that Cynthia (Cynthialoowho) hosted but it was a one on one swap. This was the first time I participate in a swap over at the Lil Scrap Of Heaven and I sure had a lot of fun creating this bracelet. My partner was Deb (2113Deb)and she said her favorite colors are pink, purple and blue. So, I made her a beautiful bracelet using some handcrafted embellishments. I really love how it turned out and she told me too how much she loved it. I also made for her an embellished gift box so she can treasure her Chunky Charm Bracelet.

ScrapChica's Greeting Farm Tag Swap

A month ago I received a sweet invitation from Linda known as ScrapChica on YouTube, to participate in a Greeting Farm tag swap. Now I do not have much of their stamps but 2, Kissy Kissy and Grad Anya .
Although after looking at their website I did see some other digi stamps I would like to purchase. The challenge was the theme had to pertain to the stamp. There were 8 of us ladies participating each with a different image. The one I chose to use was Kissy Kissy. I had a lot fun making these and love how they turned out.

Yesterday I was happy to see a package waiting for me from the post office. (That would explain why everyone on YouTube titles their received packages "Happy Mail", lol!)  =D  It was the rest of the tags! Woo-hoo! Anyway, click on the video below to see what a great job all the ladies did with their tags.
